Shipping Policy
Last Updated: August 2026
Crystallode ships natural crystals, minerals, jewelry, accessories, wholesale goods and related products internationally from Guangzhou, China.
This Shipping Policy explains order processing, transportation, customs, taxes and delivery responsibilities.
1. Processing Time
In-stock orders are normally prepared within 3 business days after payment and order confirmation.
Wholesale, customized, made-to-order or large-volume orders may require additional time.
If an unexpected delay materially affects processing, we will contact the customer.
2. Shipping Methods
Depending on destination, shipment size and product requirements, Crystallode may arrange:
- International express delivery;
- Air freight;
- Sea freight;
- Consolidated transportation;
- Other suitable international shipping services.
The shipping option displayed at checkout may use a general service description. The actual carrier or logistics route may be selected according to operational requirements.
3. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges may be calculated according to:
- Destination;
- Actual or volumetric weight;
- Chargeable weight;
- Package dimensions;
- Product characteristics;
- Current transportation costs;
- Fuel, remote-area or special-handling surcharges.
Final freight for large or commercial shipments may be confirmed separately before shipment.
4. Delivery Estimates
Delivery times shown on the website or provided in quotations are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
Delivery may be affected by customs clearance, government inspections, carrier operations, weather, public holidays, remote-area delivery or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Processing time and transportation time are separate.
5. Tracking
Tracking information will be provided where the selected transportation service supports tracking.
Tracking updates are controlled by carriers and local delivery networks. Temporary gaps in tracking do not necessarily mean that a shipment has been lost.
6. Customs, Duties and Import Taxes
International shipments may be subject to import VAT/GST, customs duties, brokerage charges, clearance fees or other destination-country charges.
The responsible party depends on the applicable order structure, destination law and agreed delivery term.
Unless an order is expressly confirmed as DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), customers should not assume that duties or import taxes are included in the shipping charge.
7. DAP and DDP
For DAP (Delivered At Place) shipments, Crystallode arranges transportation to the agreed destination, while import clearance, duties, VAT/GST and applicable destination charges generally remain the responsibility of the importer, subject to applicable law.
For DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipments, the quotation or Order Confirmation will specify the charges included.
DDP is available only where legally and operationally supported.
8. European Union Orders
Goods imported into the European Union may be subject to import VAT, customs procedures and carrier or customs-clearance charges. The party legally responsible for import VAT depends on the applicable import arrangement and destination rules. Taxation and Customs Union
Where taxes are not collected by Crystallode at checkout and the shipment is not expressly confirmed as DDP, the recipient may be required to pay applicable import charges before or upon delivery.
9. United Kingdom Orders
UK VAT treatment depends on the value of the consignment, customer status and transaction structure.
Certain direct-to-consumer shipments require VAT to be handled at the point of sale, while other shipments may be subject to import VAT and customs charges upon importation. 英国政府官网
Where required VAT treatment cannot be correctly handled through checkout, Crystallode may require manual order confirmation or may temporarily restrict the relevant shipping option.
10. Incoterms® 2020
For wholesale and commercial transactions, delivery terms may include EXW, FCA, FOB, CIF, DAP, DDP or another agreed term.
The applicable Incoterm and named place will be stated in the quotation, Proforma Invoice or Order Confirmation.
Website product pricing does not automatically mean that every order is EXW.
Incoterms® 2020 allocate specified delivery obligations, costs and risks between buyer and seller. ICC - International Chamber of Commerce
11. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must provide accurate:
- Recipient information;
- Shipping address;
- Telephone or contact details where required;
- Customs or importer information where legally necessary.
Additional charges caused by an incorrect address, refused delivery, failure to provide required import information or failure to complete required customs procedures may be charged to the customer where legally permitted.
12. Lost or Damaged Shipments
Customers should notify Crystallode promptly if a shipment is visibly damaged, incomplete or appears lost.
We may request photographs of the goods, packaging, shipping labels and other reasonable evidence.
Claims will be handled according to the circumstances, applicable carrier procedures, insurance coverage, our Refund & Return Policy and mandatory law.
13. Wholesale and Large Shipments
Wholesale, palletized, air-freight and sea-freight orders may have separately agreed:
- Freight charges;
- Incoterms;
- Insurance;
- Customs responsibilities;
- Delivery schedules;
- Packaging requirements.
The applicable quotation or Order Confirmation takes priority over general website shipping information for that specific transaction.
14. Shipping Restrictions
Crystallode may refuse or modify a shipping arrangement where necessary because of:
- Import or export restrictions;
- Sanctions;
- Carrier limitations;
- Product restrictions;
- Customs requirements;
- Safety or legal compliance requirements.
